I woke up with a sore throat and I wasn’t the one yelling at the TV last night during the Super Bowl! In an attempt to knock out whatever might be coming on I made this concoction. I suggest you try this the next time you feel like you’re coming down with something. Here’s what you do: Mince a clove of garlic and toss it in a mug. Add turmeric and cayenne powder, honey and lemon juice. Add hot water and sip while it’s hot. Continue to reuse the spices/garlic each time you add additional water/honey/lemon. Repeat and repeat some more. Yes, it’s kind of intense, but I find it really works. Thanks to Molly for sharing this with me a few months back!
